February 25, 2008 : Too close for comfort?

OMG - how did they know :)!?!? Is this just a crazy coincidence, or did theknot.com sell me down the river?
This is an interesting experience for me in that I am a believer in relevant messaging, but as, in this case, I was not the direct data source, the effect is unsettling as opposed to engaging.

I got the same email this morning. Theknot.com does have my info - but I got married 4 years ago. Hmm... I'd be curious to hear if any men got this email.

I think this was another J.Crew email housefile blast -- I got this email too, as did both male and females that I know who are on their mailing list. It's about as relevant to me as their children's stuff -- which I also seem to get on a regular basis.

Oh good because I was a little freaked out! Funny how a blast that hits the spot can actually hit a little too hard! LOL :).

I did not receive this email, but my co-worker did. She forwarded it to me and I clicked thru to look at the dresses...I was irritated that there were only 3 wedding dresses on the site. I know it was an email for the personal shopping service, but I still think they should have supported the email with more product.

I got it too. Will be 8 (gasp!) years in July for me. :) Not sure if you meant the "engaging" pun or not. Very funny either way! But don't worry... you will get sold down the river by everybody. You will be amazed at how "they" will find you. FYI, Amazon is sending me Bridal magazine "suggestions". Congrats again!!
